In September 2025, Dr. Johnny Walker became the lead pastor of Crossview Church. Johnny grew up in Marietta and moved to Birmingham, Alabama, to attend Samford University, where he double majored in religion and sociology. He earned his master’s degree in agency counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his PhD in leadership and organizational development from Aidan University.

Johnny has been in bi-vocational ministry for most of his adult life, serving as a youth minister, college-and-career minister, Christian counselor, and pastor. He was a certified police officer for 18 years before starting his career in the business sector and now owns and operates a corporate training and coaching firm, Character Incorporated.

Johnny’s passion is discipleship and practical ministry. He believes the Bible is applicable to our everyday lives—at work, at home, and in service through the local church. He is the author of two books: I Am a Parent, Now What? and Discovering the Truth.

Johnny has been married to his college sweetheart, Alisa, since 1989. They have four adult children and one grandchild.

David has served as finance and operations leader for Crossview since 2023. He also has over 30 years of experience in various corporate marketing and business operations roles. He has been married to Tennille since 2001 and has 3 children.

Taylor has been the worship leader for Crossview since 2023. She has been singing and playing music from a young age. She got her start in bluegrass music where she met her husband, Dylan. She also served as youth pastor for Crossview from 2020 to 2022.

Jason has been the youth leader for Crossview since 2022. He is also Sunday School/bible study director, plays drums for praise team, and is involved in many additional church ministries.

Debbie has been the children's ministry leader for Crossview since 2020.
She is also a vocalist for praise team and is involved in many additional church ministries.
